Sandra and Andrew Swayne of Clifton Park, proudly announce the birth of their son.

Derek James was born on May 1, 2008 at St. Peter’s Hospital. He weighed 9 pounds, 5 ounces and measured 22 inches in length.

The infant is brother to Madeline Rebecca, 2.

Grandparents are Edwin and Nancy Meyer of Saratoga Springs, and Robert and Cheryl Swayne of Ballston Lake.
