Engagement: Hebert and Pangburn

Carl and Jeanne Hebert of Glenville announce
the engagement of their daughter Erika
Hebert, to Ryan Pangburn, son of Craig and
Marty Pangburn of Glenville.
The future bride is a graduate of Shenendehowa
High School, Westminster Choir College
and Union Graduate College. She is a middle
school English teacher at Catholic Central High
The future groom is a graduate of Burnt Hills-
Ballston Lake High School and Ithaca College.
He is a middle school band director at Gowana
Middle School.
An August 2013 wedding is planned.

Engagement: Janes and Forbes

Blair and Susan Janes of Burnt Hills, NY announce
the engagement of their daughter Leigh
Janes to Tom Forbes, son of Benjamin and Lark
Forbes of Stow, OH.
The future bride is a graduate of Burnt Hills-
Ballston Lake High School and Purdue University
with a bachelor’s degree in aero space
engineering. She earned her master’s degree in
public administration from George Washington
University. She is employed by NASA-Goddard
Space Flight Center as an aerospace engineer.
The future groom is a graduate of Case
Western Reserve University, where he received
his bachelor and master degrees in mechanical
engineering. He received his Ph.D. in mechanical
engineering from Georgia Tech. He is employed
at National Institute of Standards and
Technology as a research engineer.
A May 2013 wedding is planned.

Wedding: West and Patneaude

Melissa Ann West and Brian Ronald Patneaude
were married July 7, 2012 at Our Lady
Queen of Peace Church, Rotterdam, NY. A reception
followed at River Stone Manor, Scotia.
The bride is the daughter of Michael West
and Mary Ann West, both of Rotterdam. The
groom is the son of Camille and Audrey Patneaude
of Rotterdam.
Bridesmaids were Lynn Dykeman, Jen Hurst,
Meredith Schaefer, Amber Newman and Sarah
Scotti. Junior bridesmaid was Macaela Rourke.
Flowergirl was Kaitlyn Patneaude.
Ushers were David Patneaude, Joel Villa,
Danny Whelchel, Nicholas Lue and Michael
West. Junior groomsmen were Michael Dagostino
and Matthew Dagostino. Ringbearer was
Jordan Whelchel.
The bride and groom are both graduates of
the College of Saint Rose. Melissa is a fifth grade
teacher in the Schalmont Central School
District. Her husband is a freelance musician
and music educator at Schenectady County
Community College and Blue Sky Music
