Albany County

Mayor of Albany: Kathy Sheehan (D) vs. Corey Ellis (D)

Fulton County

Gloversville mayor : Ponticello, incumbent Dayton J. King and James E. Handy are running for the Republican line on the November ballot. King and Handy will also vie for the Conservative line on the ballot.
Johnstown mayor: Scott Jeffers, Helen J. Martin and Larry Razzano are all seeking the Republican line to replace Mayor Sarah Slingerland, who is retiring.
Broadalbin supervisor: Incumbent Joseph C. DiGiacomo will face a challenge for the Republican line from Thomas Christopher.
Broadalbin Town Board: Voters will choose two candidates from a list of four seeking the Republican line: Drew C. Thompson, Tina Winney, Larry Ruzycky and Kimberly A. Verrego.
Caroga Town Board: Four candidates seek to secure two spots on the Republican line: Tara L. Kaczor, Anthony J. Sturchio, Anthony Russitano and John L. Glenn.
Johnstown Town Board: Republicans will choose two of three candidates seeking the GOP line: Walter T. Lane, James Westover and Clarinda L. Bellen.
Mayfield Town Board: Two of three candidates will be selected to run on the Republican line: Steven D. VanAllen, Jack E. Putman and Vince Coletti.
Northampton supervisor: James K. Groff will challenge incumbent Linda Kemper for both the Republican and Conservative lines.
Northampton Town Board: Three candidates are running for two spots on the GOP line: Guy Poulin, Art Simmons and Darryl L. Roosa.
Oppenheim supervisor: Walter H. Rumrill Jr. will challenge incumbent George E. Capek for the Republican line.
Oppenheim highway superintendent: Leo Miller is challenging incumbent Richard L. Crum Jr. to secure the Republican line.
Perth highway superintendent: In the only Democratic Party primary this season, incumbent David D. Dopp faces a challenge from Stanley A. Korona Jr. for a spot on the November ballot.

Montgomery County

Montgomery County Legislature, 2nd District: Thomas Quackenbush and Brian Sweet for the Republican and Conservative lines.
Canajoharie highway superintendent : David Hodge vs. James Homkey for the Republican line.
Charleston highway superintendent : Merrill Wojcik is competing against John Gross and Robert D. Rhinehardt for the Democratic and Conservative party lines, respectively.
Florida town clerk : Kathryn Hermance vs. Kim LaMont for the Republican line.
Minden highway superintendent : Scott Crewell vs. Ronald Douglas for the Republican line.
Mnden Town Board : James Earing, Thomas Yager, Joan Eckler and Bryan Hayes all seek to run as Republicans for the two seats up for election.
Mohawk town supervisor : Edward Bishop vs. James Hoffman for the Republican line.
Mohawk highway superintendent : William Holvig vs. Ronald Hinkle for the Republican line.
St. Johnsville Town Board : Ronald Millington, Ronald Hezel and Susan Handy all seek to run as Republicans for the two seats up for election.

Saratoga County

Saratoga County Sheriff: Jeff Gildersleeve and Michael Zurlo are vying for the Republican line.
Malta Town Supervisor: Paul Sausville, the incumbent, and Peter Klotz are competing for the Republican and Conservative lines.
Wilton Town Board: Republicans John McEachron, Robert Rice and Scott Kingsley are competing for two Republican spots in November.
Republican State Committee 113th Assembly District: Voters choose between Robert Arrigo or Theodore Kusnierz and Shirley Needham or Elaine Gerber.
Saratoga Springs Mayor: Republican Shauna Sutton has mounted a write-in bid against the endorsed Democrat, Joanne Yepsen, for the Independence line.
Saratoga Springs Accounts: Republican John Arpei has mounted a write-in bid against the endorsed Democrat, John Franck, for the Independence line.

Schenectady County

Schenectady County Family Court Judge: Jill Polk and Kevin Burke are competing for the Democratic and Working Families lines.
Duanesburg Town Supervisor: Roger Tidball and William Park for Republican and Conservative lines.
Duanesburg Town Board: Charles Leoni, Randy Passonno, Daniel Houlihan and Laurie Meyer are competing for two Republican and Conservative lines.
Schenectady County Legislature, District 3 (Glenville and Niskayuna): Rory L. Fluman, Martin S. Finn, Cathy A. Gatta and Nicholas J. Gerace are competing for three spots on the Independence line.
