— Two boys, ages 11 and 12, were charged Sunday with robbing a store owner at knifepoint in Crossgates Mall, town police said.

Police said boys took two pairs of sunglasses from Sun Shades at about 2:30 p.m. When confronted by the store's owner, one of the boys threatened him with a knife. The boys fled on foot, police said, but officers found them a short time later elsewhere in the mall.

Each was charged with first-degree robbery and sent to the Albany County Juvenile Detention Center pending action in Family Court.
