LOUDONVILLE — A man has accused of stealing four "Steck for Congress" campaign signs from the lawn of a home on Route 9.

Police said Griffith E. Lewis, 45, of 15 Leslie Court, voluntarily came to the police station and turned himself in to face larceny charges.

Police said he has cooperated with the investigation and is scheduled to appear Wednesday in Town Court.

Phil Steck is a Democratic candidate in the race for the 21st Congressional district seat held foir the past two decades by Michael McNulty of Green Island, who is not seeking reelection.
