About 160,000 Capital Region homes and businesses remain without power this morning as a result of the ice storm that ripped through the area Thursday and Friday. National Grid estimates about 128,000 customers in Albany, Rensselaer, Schenectady, Saratoga and Schoharie counties are still without service, according to its Storm Central web page at www.nationalgridus.com/niagaramohawk. About 40,000 customers remain without power in Albany County, 34,000 in Schenectady County, 30,000 in Rensselaer County, 18,500 in Saratoga County ...
