AMSTERDAM — An Amsterdam man accused of having sex with a 14-year-old girl has been charged with three felonies after an investigation by state police.

David Santana, 32, was charged with two counts of second-degree rape and one count of second-degree criminal sexual act, all felonies, as well as one count of endangering the welfare of a child, a misdemeanor, troopers said.

The investigation was started after the girl's parents alleged Santana engaged in sexual conduct with their daughter, troopers said.

Santana was arraigned in Glen Town Court and sent to the Montgomery County jail on $25,000 cash bail or $50,000 bond.
