— A Waterford woman faces charges that she stole $95,553 from her employer by filing bogus college-reimbursement claims.

Noelle Gigliotti, 39, of 3 Barley Court, was arrested by State Police in Clifton Park on second-degree grand larcency charges.

Gigliotti is accused of stealing approximately $95,553 from National Grid, her former employer. She is alleged to have submitted numerous requests for reimbursement for college classes that she claimed she completed but had not. She also inflated the requests for reimbursement for other college classes that she did complete, troopers said.

Gigliotti, who was employed as a maintenance worker for National Grid, submitted the forms over the course of two and a half years. She was also charged with 16 counts of first-degree falsifying business records.

Gigliotti was arraigned before Town Justice James Hughes in the Town of Clifton Park Court and released on $1,000 cash bail. She's due back in court Jan. 28th.

So a business is kind enough to pay for your education and this is what you do to them? Sad.

Why are our bills so high, this reflects badly more on the integrity of her supervisors not being accountable for funding. The reason our bills are so high is the company is top heavy and unaccountable.
