An Albany woman was abducted this morning, driven around the Capital Region and beaten, police said. The ordeal finally ended when she escaped the car trunk she was being held in. The investigation began this morning at around 8 a.m. when Schenectady Police were called to Ellis Hospital for a 28-year-old woman who had been severely beaten.
