Two indicted in series of Schenectady knifepoint taxi holdups

Two local men were indicted this week in a series of taxi robberies, Schenectady County District Attorney’s Office officials said. Thomas Embler, 28, of 2040 State St., and Terry Lewinski, 33, of 445 McClellan St., were indicted on counts of first- and second-degree robbery, along with weapons possession, grand larceny and menacing.
