There are not enough heartening things in this world, but one occurred last weekend in Albany, and I was pleased to be present for it. That was a march down Central Avenue and subsequent meeting at the Masjid As-Salam storefront mosque to mark the eighth anniversary of the arrest of two Albany Muslims on phony-baloney charges of supporting terrorism. The two — Yassin Aref, imam of the mosque, and Mohammed Hossain, owner of a nearby ...

So when found guilty and Strock does not agree its only because the know nothing jury of fools has been tricked. Strock knows best people, there is no way these guys did anything bad becuase the FBI is the threat.

Tried and convicted by a jury of their peers. Guilty as charged, period.

What a shame it is for the families of these two men to be left without husbands and fathers.

But committing a crime has consequences, and for the family man, the cost is great. Not only do these men endure the deprivations of prison, but the fact their their blind devotion to a cause cost their families so much.

Mr. Strock never met a Terrorist or a Child Molester he didn't like. He seems to be a throw back to the 1960's 1970's. He seems to be very antiestablishment

I am glad your fears that your car would blow up when you had to deal with Muslims didn't come to fruition! But you missed the mark again in your article. You are an anti-religious bigot and thus focused on YOUR kind in the story: fellow white Americans. Where were you when the Sikhs suffered? Why aren't you covering that community response? Could it be because it had happened in the name of religion? Still the bigot!

I understood.... Strock, while disparaging Christians and Jews not that long ago refused to disparage Muslims the same way as he was afraid they might come after him. Strock is a religious bigot to everyone except the Muslims that he is so afraid of.

It's enheartening to see all these folks with such confidence in our Law Enforcement officials, especially in the face of so many scandals over the years in Schenectady alone. I can only assume they never bore the brunt of the weight of the law enforcement community's authority and influence when suspected of a crime for which they were innocent. God Bless them and keep them and their loved ones from that experience.
