Weather hot, dry, but no crisis yet

Make no mistake, it’s dry out there. With the exception of May and early June, the Capital Region has remained drier than normal this year, according to the National Weather Service in Albany. The total amount of rainfall recorded so far is about 3 inches less than normal — a fact that is evident by the brown grass throughout the area.
