Tech Valley class of ’12 shuns ranking students

Tech Valley High School in Rensselaer graduated its second-ever class this year. The class of 2012 didn’t have a valedictorian or a salutatorian, but according to seniors Nate Hileman, whose home district is Schalmont, and Kate Berdan of Schoharie, that was partly a decision of the senior class.
