Stolen property charge brings prison time

A 34-year-old Gansevoort man was sentenced Monday to 11⁄2 to three years in state prison on his guilty plea last month to fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property. Peter J. Coffman of 306 Cabin Drive was arrested by state police Dec. 27, 2011, for being in possession of more than $1,000 in stolen property.
