CLIFTON PARK A 21-year-old Ballston Lake man has been charged with three counts of third-degree burglary for allegedly burglarizing Tech Valley Recycling on Pierce Road twice this month.
Anthony V. Vagnini of Pine Crest was also charged with criminal mischief for allegedly damaging a door handle at Tech Valley Recycling on Sept. 23, according to the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office. He allegedly burglarized the business on Nov. 8 and Nov. 11.
Police allege that Vagnini also burglarized the Halfmoon Musalla, a mosque, on Route 9 in Halfmoon on Nov. 12.
Vagnini had been attempting to access the Computer Answers store but ended up inside the Musalla mosque that is in the same building, police said. He also stole computer parts from a recycling bin owned by Computer Answers, according to a statement from the sheriff’s office.
Vagnini, who was arrested Tuesday, was arraigned Wednesday in Clifton Park Town Court and released to reappear in town court in the near future.
