Scotia boys earn share of Foothills soccer title

Scotia-Glenville clinched a portion of the Foothills Council boys’ soccer championship Friday with a 3-2 win over Glens Falls in a driving rain on the turf at Glens Falls. Dennis Turner, Eric Denny and Ryan Carroll scored for the Tartans, who improved to 10-1-1. Nate Didio and Heath Armstrong tallied goals for the 2-10, 3-12 Indians. Adam Ashcroft made one save for the Tartans, while Gabe Alagna had to make 11 stops for the Ind­ians. ...
