Schenectady County Legislature candidates in forum tonight

— Candidates for the five state Legislature races in Schenectady County have been invited to appear at a forum at Schenectady High School at 7 p.m. tonight.

The candidates come from the 46th and 49th state Senate races and 110th, 111th and 112th Assembly races. The invited Assembly candidates are Phil Steck and Jennifer Whalen in the 110th, Angelo Santabarbara and Thomas Quackenbush in the 11th and incumbent James Tedisco and Michelle Draves in the 112th. The invited Senate candidates are George Amedore and Cecilia Tkaczyk in the 46th and incumbent Hugh Farley and Madelyn Thorne in the 49th.

The Chamber of Schenectady County, the League of Women Voters of Schenectady County, and the American Association of University Women is responsible for organizing this event.

The forum will be broadcast in its entirety on Public Channel 16 on Friday at 4 p.m., Saturday at 9 p.m. and additional dates after that. Clips will also be posted on the Internet at www.OSM.com.
