Schenectady woman allegedly stabbed roommate

SCHENECTADY A Schenectady woman was arrested early this morning for allegedly stabbing her roommate.
Lisa L. Morado, 45, of 109 Irving St., Apt. 2, had an argument with 48-year-old Andrew A. Botham and she allegedly stabbed him in the hand just after 2 a.m. inside the apartment.
Botham was treated on scene by members of the Schenectady Fire Department and transported to Ellis Hospital. His injuries are not considered to be life threatening.
Morado was charged with felony second-degree assault. She is currently being held in the city lock-up pending her arraignment.
Police spokesman Lt. Mark McCracken said the two were not boyfriend and girlfriend, but he does not know the nature of their relationship.
