Taxi driver faces charge of DWI

A taxi driver was charged with driving while intoxicated early Sunday morning after passengers said he was driving erratically, the Ballston Spa Police Department said. Larry Northrop, 61, of Saratoga, was arrested about 4:06 a.m. for DWI, aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, speeding in a restricted zone, and other charges, police said.
