Glenville businessman accused of buying steroids from China

GLENVILLE A large order of steroids en route from China to a home in Glenville has led to a man’s arrest, police said.
Anthony M. Crocetto, Jr., 48, of Ashdown Road, Ballston Lake, was accused of possessing 55 vials of liquid steroids and more than 1,000 oral steroid tablets.
Police found the steroids after executing a search warrant on Crocetto’s business, Superior Auto, at 584 Saratoga Road in Glenville, police said.
Police focused on Crocetto after receiving information U.S. Postal Service and federal Department of Homeland Security investigators that Crocetto had placed a large order for steroids from China, police said.
Crocetto faces one count of fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell, two counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of marijuana.
Crocetto was arraigned and ordered held on $5,000 bail.
