Gloversville woman pleads innocent to attempted murder of cab driver

The Gloversville woman accused of trying to kill a taxi driver in February pleaded innocent this morning to an attempted murder indictment. Desere D. Shaw, 18, appeared this morning with her attorney Sven Paul for arraignment on a new indictment accusing her of second-degree attempted murder and first-degree assault. She also faces a fourth-degree grand larceny count. Shaw pleaded not guilty. Schenectady County Court Judge Karen Drago ordered she continue to be held without bail, ...

You cannot plead innocent in an American court - guilty or not guilty. Those are the choices. But the Gazette continually adds that third choice that they made up.
