Police car hit by allegedly drunk teen

A 19-year-old University at Albany student was arrested early Saturday morning after police said he drove through a stop sign at the intersection of Ontario and Mercer streets and hit a police car. Where was he drinking before it happened? I hope they do a little more investigating.

For the first time in living memory, the Schenectady Gazette has employed the adverb "allegedly". Do not expect an investigation. The boy will be bound, shackled and convicted within a month's time. There will be no mercy nor any quarter given. Do we want to live this way?
