Tonight’s Alive at Five concert moving under cover
Skeeter Creek, Whiskey City to perform under 787 overpass
ALBANY Because of the threat of rain and thunderstorms, tonight’s Alive at Five concert will be moved to the Corning Preserve boat launch, under the 787 overpass at Colonie and Water streets.
The free concert, from 5 to 8 p.m., will feature country bands Skeeter Creek and Whiskey City.
Skeeter Creek, which formed in 2002 as a bluegrass band, has morphed into one of the Capital Region’s top modern country party band. Whiskey City is a high-energy, six-piece country rock band.
