Woman accused of robbery at Schenectady store

A city woman pushed a store manager to the ground as she tried to flee with stolen merchandise, authorities allege. Tonya Shannon, 40, of State Street, was arrested Dec. 12 and charged with third-degree robbery, a felony. She is accused of pushing the manager to the ground at the Dollar General on Broadway in October after being told to return nearly $30 in merchandise that wasn’t paid for.
