Troy man accused of driving backhoe drunk on Central Avenue

A 44-year-old man was arrested Friday night after reportedly driving a backhoe on Central Avenue while drunk. Albany police said Officer Michael Romano Jr. spotted a large yellow backhoe headed east in the 400 block of Central Avenue about 8:30 p.m. It was violating several vehicle and traffic laws, according to a news release issued today.
