CAPITAL REGION Jacob Shell, Neil Golub and Gary Dake were just some of the Capital Region faces to appear in a locally broadcast Super Bowl advertisement.
The television advertisement is in recognition of Freihofer's 100th anniversary.
Gary Dake, of Stewart's Shops, leads the commercial by arguing that the company's longevity suggests they're doing something right. "You got to love a Freihofer's chocolate chip cookie," he adds.
A handful of other people tout the company, and then Price Chopper's Neil Golub does a magic trick with a cookie. He makes it disappear and when it comes back, Golub takes a bite.
The commercial ends with Shell, a Burnt Hills boy who had a famous battle with cancer, saying, "Happy 100th anniversary Freihofer's."
