Mayfield schools chief to retire

Mayfield Central School District Superintendent Paul G. Williamsen plans to retire in June following five years at the district. His announcement will launch another school superintendent search in Fulton County, where changes in school leadership have been frequent in the last several years. An educator with 35 years of service, Williamsen worked for 10 years as a teacher then in administration in Pennsylvania before taking leadership positions in the Scotia-Glenville, Broadalbin and Wells school districts. ...
