Christian Brothers Academy outscored Bishop Maginn, 16-4, in the second quarteer and went on to defeat the Griffins, 66-42, in a Big 10 boys’ basketball game Sunday. Dan Owens drilled six three-pointers and finished with 20 points for the Big 10 champion Brothers, who ran their league record to 15-1 and overall mark to 16-2. Greig Stire added 19.
