This is a great op-ed column Barb. The basic premise of your piece is that we're all
fortunate that the Democrats won the election. If not, all of the people in Rensselaerville would be starving and freezing. Does it ever get old with you liberals? I mean you're the compassionate ones and Conservatives want to kill Granny. You put all these people out of work. Your President keeps them out of work and now you buy loyalty by providing the candy these people wouldn't need if you would simply stop your Governmental meddling. The 47% had better wake up and understand what they'll have if they continue to let Democrats run the country simply because they get something for free. Eventually they'll be facing no more handouts and no jobs anywhere. You will collapse the system. Its just a matter of time.
