Gloversville man charged with criminal contempt

A Gloversville man is accused of hitting his girlfriend and then violating a stay away order of protection, police said. Jamie L. Lucas, 26, of 86 Broad St., was arrested Friday after an alleged altercation with his girlfriend at the same address that resulted in an injury to her lip. Lucas was charged with attempted assault, a misdemeanor, and released with an appearance ticket so he could receive treatment for a possible overdose, police said. ...
