— Police last week apprehended four men accused of selling heroin in the village of Cobleskill.

The Cobleskill Police Department said Monday that the following individuals were arrested between Feb. 15 and 19 and charged with third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance: Rossiter J. Lighthall III, 21, of Warnerville; Joshua B. Lindsay, 21, of Cobleskill; Jacob S. Brown, 22, of Sharon Springs; and Jacob Olivieri-McKersie, 21, of Warnerville.

Police in a news release said an investigation into the sale and distribution of heroin locally began last autumn. Indictments were handed up against the suspects, leading to arrest warrants being issued in County Court.

All four were put in the custody of the Schoharie County Sheriff.
