Yankees sign Logan to 1-year pact

NEW YORK — Left-hander Boone Logan and the New York Yankees have agreed to a $3.15 million, one-year contract, a raise of $1.25 million.
His agreement Friday on the non-guaranteed deal avoided salary arbitration.
The 27-year-old was 7-2 with a 3.74 ERA and one save in 80 games, tied for the major league lead. He can become a free agent after this season.
