The trial of an Amsterdam man accused of killing two people last year is scheduled to start today in Montgomery County Court. Ivan Ramos, 31, faces two counts of first-degree murder. He faces life in prison if convicted. Ramos is accused of killing Cheryl Goss, 46, and William McDermott, 56, at McDermott’s Locust Ave. apartment on March 2, 2012.
