Willie Nelson and Lady Antebellum are set to headline the first Taste of Country music festival at Hunter Mountain.

The festival, which will take place June 13 to 15, will also feature performances from country stars Trace Adkins, Billy Currington, Hunter Hayes, Montgomery Gentry, Joe Nichols, Gloriana, Justin Moore, Dustin Lynch and Blackberry Smoke.

Taste of Country, billed as the “only multiday country music festival in the Northeast,” is being co-produced by Townsquare Media Group — which owns 107.7 WGNA-FM, sponsor of the annual Countryfest — and Chet-5 Festivals, producer of the annual Mountain Jam Music Festival, which this year will take place June 6 to 9.

Nelson, whose career has spanned six decades, will appear with his longtime band, the Family. With over 60 albums to his name, at age 79 Nelson is still going strong; last May he released “Heroes,” featuring collaborations with his son Lukas, rapper Snoop Dogg and Merle Haggard, among others. In April, to celebrate his 80th birthday, he will release another new album with the Family, “Let’s Face the Music and Dance.”

Trio Lady Antebellum has rocketed to pop crossover success since its self-titled debut in 2008. In 2011 the band racked up five Grammy Awards, including Record of the Year for “Need You Now.” And last year the band scored another Grammy for Best Country Album for its third release, “Own the Night.” A new album will be released early this year.

Tickets go on sale Friday, Feb. 1. Three-day passes with or without camping, VIP passes and individual day passes will be available, starting at $120. Further details on ticket price will be released at www.tasteofcountryfestival.com.
