Suspects sought in Guilderland bank robbery

— Authorities today are continuing their search for two suspects involved in the robbery of the Berkshire Bank in Hamilton Square (formerly 20 Mall) in Guilderland.

According to police, at about 2:50 p.m. two suspects entered the bank separately, each going to different teller areas and handing the tellers demand notes.

The suspects left the bank with an undetermined amount of cash and fled into the strip mall parking lot.

The state police and state police aviation unit assisted Guilderland police in the investigation. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Guilderland Police Criminal Investigation Unit at 356-1501.
