But with technology far more sophisticated and reliable today, and most people, especially younger ones, comfortable with it, the future is bright for online learning. So why not merge this effort into Excelsior and or Empire State College which are affiliated with, or already part, of the SUNY system and have been doing online degrees for quite some time. Or do we need more State University departments created?
