— Jack Brock, the first-year coach of the Saratoga Springs High School boys' varsity basketball team, was suspended from his coaching position Wednesday.

School Athletic Director Peter Sheehan said Brock has been suspended until an investigation into undisclosed allegations can be concluded. He wouldn't comment on the allegations that prompted the suspension.

The investigation will consist of interviews with players on the team, and a meeting involving Brock, Sheehan and representatives from the district's human resources office.

While Brock is suspended, the team will be led by assistant coaches Damian Fantauzzi and Greg Goering. The team's next game is against Suburban Council rival Shenendehowa in Clifton Park Friday night.
