What a novel editorial. A leftist newspaper's advocacy of keeping every dime the State finds laying around. I love this line: "Tax cuts are fine when there’s money around..." Has the Gazette EVER advocated for a tax cut "when there's money around?" OF COURSE NOT! Because there's never "money around." And take a look at the miniscule amount we're talking about. $200 million dollars amounts to less than 2/10ths of 1% of the entire state budget! I don't expect to live long enough to see a Gazette editorial bashing Democrats for not CUTTING TAXES. Never gonna see it.

The citizens of New York State [including myself] should truly be concerned and embarrassed___The dismal financial state of affairs is quite evident and the incompetency of our elected leaders is continually demonstrated___Until they are replaced [100%] things will remain the same___Can we endure that much longer?___What a legacy for our children & grandchildren
