— A Clifton Park woman has been indicted by a Saratoga County grand jury in a November accident in Charlton that killed a Milton man.

The indictment against Traci L. Briskin, 39, of 614B Clifton Park Center Road, was opened today in Saratoga County Court and accuses her of second-degree manslaughter, two counts of second-degree vehicular manslaughter and two misdemeanor counts of driving while intoxicated. She faces two counts each of DWI and vehicular manslaughter because she is charged under two separate subdivisions of the criminal code, which is not unusual, according to officials.

Briskin is accused of running a stop sign on Jockey Street while driving drunk on Nov. 30 and hitting a vehicle driven by Thomas R. Baker, 49, of Paisley Road. Baker died three weeks later at Albany Medical Center.

The most serious charge carries a maximum sentence of 5 to 15 years in prison. Briskin is scheduled to be arraigned Monday in Saratoga County Court.
