Schenectady police search for 'menacing' man, use Taser on dog in process

Schenectady police came up empty while on the search for a man menacing drivers with a shotgun this afternoon, but not before using a Taser on a pit bull. The department received a report today of a man with a shotgun in the area of 234 McClellan St., and around 2:56 p.m. received a 911 call that a light-skinned black or Hispanic man was behind it, according to a news release issued today.
