Fingerprint leads police to Gilboa man in burglary probe

State police have arrested a Gilboa man whose fingerprint they say they discovered during a November 2011 burglary investigation. Troopers said Josh McMullen, 29, of Spencer Street, left the print inside a home in the Schoharie County town of Gilboa. State police identified the print in early 2012 at their forensic unit in Latham. McMullen has a history of burglary convictions and has spent time in rehabilitation and halfway houses, troopers said. He was recently ...
