UPDATE: 2 pedestrians hit by vehicle in Troy

Troy police say two pedestrians were hit by a vehicle today at Hoosick and 10th streets. Police say a mother and her child were struck while crossing the street near the Stewart's store at 7:40 a.m. The driver has remained at the scene and is cooperating, according to police. Sarah Bingham, 19, of 8th Street in Troy, and her daughter, Amy Van Wert, 4, were transported to Albany Medical Center by Troy Fire Department officials. ...
