Ballston water fund audit faults recordkeeping

Ballston’s accounting reports and records were not properly maintained for its water fund financial operations, according to a new audit from New York State Comptroller Thomas DiNapoli’s office. Although he caused the ultimate firing of the incompetent bookkeeper by illegally using her work password, eliminated funding for a replacement and denied the Supervisor any access to the town's reporting system, Bill Goslin continues to believe that any future reports would be "highly suspect".
