Near-record-low temperatures expected tonight in Capital Region

Gardeners who have planted tender annuals outdoors are advised to cover them tonight in anticipation of near-record-low temperatures. The National Weather Service is predicting an overnight low of 32 degrees for Albany, and in Saratoga and Glens Falls, the temperature could drop into the upper 20s, according to meteorologist Ingrid Amberger.
