Metroplex green-lights 4 projects

The Schenectady County Metroplex Development Authority approved four different projects across the county at its monthly board meeting Wednesday night. In Rotterdam, the board agreed to provide up to $250,000 in matching funds for the demolition of the long vacant Curry Road shopping plaza so that it is shovel-ready for development. So we already spent close to a quarter million to turn an empty lot into a CLEAN empty lot? Way to go, Metroplex --- like the (former) Liberty South parking lot (next to KFC in downtown Schenectady) that you sold for $1.

Mazzone should not get that space until he is ready to build on it. I've not read the article yet, but I see on here that he will be consolidating in Clifton Park. What a great "THANK YOU" to the area that helped him get started! "Thanks and bye bye Schenectady County, but Saratoga looks rosier to me!"
