Student enrollment in the Niskayuna Central School District is expected to remain largely constant over the next five years, according to a new enrollment study commissioned by the district. The study was undertaken as part of the district’s efforts to determine if it can better use its facilities by changing grade-level configurations or attendance zones or, in the extreme, closing a building. Another $29,000 in contractual services to tell me that there is not a lot of building space left in Niskayuna, and to lead processes? Isn't there something in the bogus Professional Development play book to cover these tasks with the current plethora of administrators? Perhaps, we need to hire a Calendar Interpretation Specialist to precisely mark the date when the next budget proposal will be voted down.
