A Schenectady woman has announced she will open a new Thai food restaurant in the former space of Bangkok Bistro, which closed its doors five weeks ago. Piyamas DeMasi was a server at the popular Thai restaurant for six years and spent a dozen years working for a food company in Thailand before moving to the United States in 2007. Was Bangkok Thai really only open for six years? I know for a fact I went out with friends for Thai at that location in June, 2005. Was it a different Thai restaurant then?

dan - She didn't say the restaurant had been open six years, but that she was a server there for that many years.
