Malta Planning Board to review apartment complex plan

A developer has proposed a 214-unit multibuilding apartment project in Malta’s downtown area, just a couple of miles from the GlobalFoundries computer chip plant.

The Lofts at Saratoga would include 17 three-story buildings of various sizes on just under nine acres along Saratoga Village Boulevard opposite the Malta Commons Business Park.

The town Planning Board will be doing a conceptual review and holding a public hearing at a meeting tonight, but taking no action.
