Argument leads to stabbing in Saratoga Springs kitchen

What started out as a ribbing between co-workers at the Circus Cafe ended with the restaurant's chef stabbing a dishwasher with a 10-inch knife. Police said David Hernandez, 50, of Schuylerville, was working in the kitchen at the Broadway eatery shortly before 8 p.m. when an argument broke out between the chef and a 34-year-old dishwasher. What could unhinge someone to lose it like this? I know situations can escalate but this cook could have easy killed this man. Over what?
