Gloversville men arrested on child sex abuse charges

Two 30-something Gloversville men were arrested this week in separate incidents involving alleged sexual contact with young children. A 33-year-old Gloversville man was arrested Wednesday after a police investigation revealed he allegedly had inappropriate sexual contact with several young boys. Scott VanEtten, of 64 Second Ave., was charged with two counts of first-degree criminal sexual act, two counts of first-degree sexual abuse and five counts of second-degree criminal sexual act, all felonies.
